The BMAA supports young people who wish to learn to fly microlights. Each year awards are made to youngsters that have shown a commitment to learning to fly microlights. The awards may be for blocks of hours of training up to full NPPL Microlight courses.
The BMAA contributes towards the bursary fund but also invites all members to contribute as well. Many generous donations have already been made allowing the 2011 awards to help fund several young people on their way to their licence.
